All children need to feel “strong in their skin,” which can be challenging in a racist society. Together, share this celebration of pride, self-esteem, cultural diversity, and big dreams for children’s future. The aim of this song is to promote learning about diversity and help children develop a strong sense of self so that they feel confident in who they are—just as they are—so they can “stand tall” in the world and help build a better world.

I Am Somebody (Giant Song)

We can all be proud of who we are! And when we stand together, we stand tall “like a giant” against racism… and help build a better world. Sing “I Am Somebody” along with Elmo, Abby, Rosita, and their new friend Wes —and celebrate you.

“I am, You are, We are SOMEBODY!”

Watch and sing along to this video of “I Am Somebody (Giant Song)”.This joyful song will quickly become a go-to anthem for you and your child! Sing and dance together along with the video as you explore concepts of pride, self-worth , and celebrating ourselves and others.
